Work For CAREER EDGE At College 2013-2014

Work For CAREER EDGE™ At College

Students Helping Students

Back in 2011, we were looking for a way to raise awareness of the CAREER EDGE™ Graduate Management Service. Initial research did reveal that once students discovered our service, they started telling their friends and word of mouth quickly spread. We decided to focus our efforts on this approach and start rewarding students for their efforts. We call college based affiliates our CAREER EDGE ADVOCATES™ or CEAs. Over the 2 years, we have recruited a network of CEAs and carefully refined this model to make it the most successful marketing initiative we have ever launched. Watch out for our displays and information literature on your campus.

 What's involved?
We appoint 2 CEA's to each college to work independently and in tandem.
Registering other students at your college using our on-line form.
Other ad-hoc promotions.
These are totally part-time positions and earnings are dependent on
how much application is put into the position and referrals generated.
Overall expected earnings are in the €500 to €1400 range per academic year.
We also provide a merit bonus scheme.
A CEA is engaged on average 8-10  hours per month.

 Current college vacancies:

 Cork Institute of Technology
 Waterford Institute of Technology

We are always happy to answer your questions.

How is this experience good for my CV?

this experience is very valuable.
As we engage with graduate recruiters, we know what skills they look for.
This job will equip you with a sizeable amount of these skills.
It creates an immediate and very distinctive difference on your CV which

Being a CEA will therefore give you;
An excellent way to demonstrate key skills that employers are looking for such as time management, communication, commercial awareness, personal initiative, flexibility, organisation and interpersonal skills.

Strategic Management

Strategic Management

We are very proud to deliver the only short course on strategic management available in Ireland. This course has been designed to be delivered in house and is specifically tailored for the Irish multi national IDA high value manufacturing and services sector. The programme is delivered over 20 hours as an integrated format over modules decided by the client. Strategy only works when everyone is on the same page and for this reason we offer this programme for each management forum to take advantage of this unique opportunity. It is fundamental knowledge that companies that have a strong foundation and understanding of strategy and how it shapes future sustainable success are the business units that achieve prolonged success within the greater company structure. Simply put, the business unit that talks the language of the CEO attracts the greatest interest and capital input. Success is always built on strategy. See a sample of our strategic training work.
